Temporary Caretakers & Cleaners – Join Our Database!
Due to increased demand, PMR is expanding its pool of temporary staff to support high-end residential apartments across the UK. We are currently recruiting temporary cleaners, caretakers, and estate operatives for on-site roles.
Hours: Vary depending on client needs, but shifts will always cover daytime hours.
Rates: £12.75 – £13.85 per hour + holiday pay
Role Overview:Caretakers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, appearance, stock control, security, health & safety, and ensuring the smooth running of the building.
Key Responsibilities
Daily:

Collect rubbish and bin bags outside residential apartments within designated hours

Sweep all block entrances
-
Report any maintenance issues or breakdowns promptly
Weekly:

Clean and disinfect all internal hard surfaces (including mirrors)

Vacuum and clean carpets, including stain removal

Dust and clean all woodwork (doors, balustrades, skirtings, windowsills)

Polish metal and brass furnishings on communal doors and windows

Clean and polish intercom panels and front doors

Dust window sills, ledges, and flat entrance doors

Remove scuff marks from walls

Clean basement welfare facilities

Sweep leaves and clear external areas as needed

Clean external lights and internal light fittings
Premises Knowledge
