PMR is working with a leading housing provider to recruit a Temporary Independent Living Advisor to join their team in Frome, Somerset, on a 3-month assignment (likely to be extended). This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and proactive individual to provide intensive housing management support to sheltered housing residents, helping them live independently and safely within their community.
Role Details
- Location: Phoenix House, Frome, Somerset
- Hours: 28 per week (to be agreed with manager)
- Rate: £14.78 per hour PAYE
- Driving licence: Essential
- Clearance: Basic DBS required
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with residents, delivering a warm and friendly service
- Support prospective and new residents through property viewings and move-ins
- Provide tenancy guidance, ensuring residents understand their rights and responsibilities
- Offer benefits and financial signposting
- Carry out health and safety checks, including site inspections and risk assessments across communal areas and lifts
- Monitor contractors, including grounds maintenance, cleaning and laundry services
- Work collaboratively across teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Support resident wellbeing, including managing disputes, completing referrals for aids and adaptations, and responding to emergencies
