The Role
We are seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler to join a busy repairs and maintenance operation in Sheffield on a three-month contract. This role is central to the smooth running of the responsive repairs service - planning operatives' diaries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage operatives' diaries to ensure efficient use of time and resources
- Schedule responsive repairs and coordinate appointments with customers
- Liaise with customers to arrange, confirm, and where necessary rearrange appointments
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure jobs are allocated appropriately and completed on time
- Monitor and help achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Respond promptly to changes in schedules, urgent repairs, or operational issues
- Maintain accurate records within scheduling and Microsoft Office systems
About You
- Previous experience as a planner/scheduler, ideally within repairs, maintenance, housing, or property services
