Job Description
One of our clients is looking for an experienced Porter to joing their team in a Luxury Residential Building based in Central London.
About the role:
Rota: Monday to Friday 2pm to 8pm and every other Saturday 9am to 4pm.
Salary: £25,000 per annum
About you: the right candidate will have relevant experience, excellent customer service, proactiveness and be full of energy!
Duties:

Act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and contractors, ensuring a professional and courteous manner at all times

Patrol the front area of the building, maintaining a visible presence and assisting residents with doors, luggage, and parcels

Maintain building security by monitoring access, challenging unknown visitors, and reporting breaches or concerns

Ensure all communal areas are clean and well-presented; report and log any repairs or maintenance issues

Supervise and support contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with building rules and procedures

Manage deliveries securely, keeping accurate records and notifying residents as appropriate

Handle and record keys in accordance with building policies, ensuring proper authorisation and logging procedures

Maintain accurate daily log books and checklists, noting incidents, repair needs, and general updates

Carry out minor repairs (e.g., replacing lightbulbs, door adjustments) as instructed

Conduct daily checks on machinery, lighting, and other building systems, escalating urgent issues where needed

Be familiar with and follow all safety, fire, and emergency procedures

Support the Estate Manager and deputise when required

Assist with tasks such as meter readings, distributing notices, and preparing condition reports

Ensure uniform is always presentable and professional appearance is maintained
