Our client is busy, growing, and needs someone who can hit the ground running.
They're an established property maintenance business operating across prime residential properties throughout Central London. With a strong and growing portfolio, they've built a reputation for delivering quality across high-end, occupied developments and they're expanding the team to keep pace with demand.
This is a mobile, reactive position covering planned and reactive maintenance works across residential sites in Central London. You'll be out on the road daily, working across multiple properties, handling everything from routine servicing to emergency call-outs. The working window is 7am to 6pm with 40 guaranteed hours per week, and you'll join an on-call rota roughly one week in three. PAYE and self-employed options are both available.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out landlord gas safety inspections (CP12s) and boiler servicing across residential properties
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs, including boiler breakdowns
- Responding to emergency call-outs as part of the on-call rota
- Undertaking boiler installations and upgrades where required
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately after each visit
- Representing the business professionally when working in occupied, high-end residential properties
Skills and experience:
Essential:
- Current Gas Safe registration with domestic ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)
- Solid background in domestic gas servicing, fault finding, and reactive maintenance
- Experience working across multiple sites in Central London
- Comfortable with on-call requirements and reactive call-outs
- Full UK driving licence with experience driving in London
Desirable:
- Commercial gas tickets
- Self-employed background with own van
- Experience attending emergency call-outs in a fast-paced environment
