Our client, a specialist property litigation practice, is seeking a NQ Solicitor to join a high-performing and well-regarded legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with property experience and interest.
You will support and manage a caseload consisting of County Court and First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) matters. With the support of the Legal Director, you will play a key role in providing specialist guidance across the department and supporting the firm's continued growth.
The RoleYou will be responsible for running your caseload with minimal supervision and providing advice, support and supervision to colleagues as needed. Matters will typically include:
- Defended service charge, ground rent and possession matters (residential and commercial)
- Reviewing incoming claims, assessing defence and counterclaim merits, and advising Clients and/or Agents
- Handling breaches of covenant, advising Clients and progressing matters appropriately
- Complying with all Court and Tribunal deadlines and directions
- Providing timely general Landlord & Tenant advice when required
- Ensuring effective case management through accurate diarising, database updates and document control
- Producing concise, accurate reporting as required
- Any other duties reasonably commensurate with the post, as directed by your Line Manager
