The role
They're looking for a Senior Maintenance Coordinator to take a senior position within their operations team, based at their office in Takeley, Essex. This is a hands-on leadership role - you'll be overseeing complex maintenance projects, running PPM programmes, and supporting a small coordination team while reporting directly to the Operations Director/Managing Director.
What you'll be doing
- Leading and supporting a team of Maintenance Coordinators and admin staff, acting as the escalation point for complex issues, contractor delays, and tenant disputes.
- Developing, scheduling, and managing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes across residential and commercial client portfolios.
- Coordinating minor works and refurbishment projects end to end, managing materials, labour, and access.
- Sourcing, vetting, and managing external contractors and suppliers, negotiating rates and monitoring performance.
- Analysing maintenance data to spot trends and drive improvements.
