Our client is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support the growth of its residential and living sector portfolio across PBSA, co-living, and emerging operational real estate markets. Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, you'll play a key role across the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity appraisal and market analysis to tender submissions and client presentations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across PBSA, co-living, BTR, and the wider living sector
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of developers, investors, and asset management partners
  • Support client meetings, presentations, and site visits to strengthen long-term relationships
  • Prepare insight-led tenders, proposals, and commercial pitch materials
  • Conduct commercial appraisals, including forecasting, financial analysis, and performance modelling
  • Leverage AI tools and BI platforms to enhance market insight, reporting, and decision-making

Your Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience within business development, commercial, operations, or real estate-focused roles.
  • Exposure to PBSA, co-living, BTR, or the wider residential/living sectors.
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and confidence working with data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using reporting tools.
  • Experience or familiarity with AI tools and BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to translate market and operational data into clear commercial insights and recommendations.
  • Proactive, relationship-focused, and comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously.
