If you are the kind of person who genuinely enjoys making people feel looked after, this role might be for you. Our client runs a modern residential building in Cardiff where residents expect hotel-level service from the moment they walk through the door. They need a warm, organised face at the front of house to deliver it.

About our client: Our client is a well-established build-to-rent residential business that owns and manages high-quality rental homes. Their whole model is built around service, so the front of house team isn't an afterthought, it's central to how they keep residents happy and renewing. You'd be joining a friendly on-site team in a building designed around community and customer experience.

The role: As Resident Services Associate you are the first point of contact for residents and visitors. You'll cover reception and meet and greet, handle enquiries and the occasional complaint, and keep the day-to-day running of the building smooth. It's a varied, people-first role that blends customer service with the practical side of property and lettings.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering a warm front-of-house welcome: reception, meet and greet, parcels, visitors and resident enquiries in person, by phone and in writing
  • Supporting the lettings journey from viewings and offer acceptance through to a seamless move in and move out, including property checks
  • Booking and coordinating contractors, cleaners and maintenance operatives, raising works orders and scheduling jobs
  • Managing resident bookings for amenity spaces and helping keep communal areas looking their best
  • Planning and hosting resident events and helping promote them
  • Preparing shift handovers and keeping resident information and handbooks up to date

Skills and experience:

Essential:

  • A customer-facing background in property, lettings or property administration, or in hospitality such as a hotel or concierge environment
  • Genuinely strong customer service instincts and a calm, friendly manner
  • Well-organised, with clear written and verbal English
  • A team player who is comfortable on site and hands-on when needed

Desirable:

  • Rent Smart Wales certification (or willingness to complete it)
  • A qualification in property or customer service
  • Experience running or supporting events
