Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator with a keen eye for detail to join our team.
You will be responsible for the preparation of detailed and compliant tender submissions across a range of sectors, playing a key role within PMKs continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities Analyse all tender documentation, including drawings, specifications and schedules etc to prepare accurate tender bids.
Prepare and submit competitive bids within specified deadlines.
LIaise with supply chain to obtain competitive and compliant quotations.
Identify and cost value engineering opportunities.
Attend mid tender and post tender review meetings as required.
Work collaboratively with project delivery team overseeing detailed handovers to preconstruction and contracts managers.
Key Skills and Criteria Experience as an electrical estimator or similar role.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods, preferably having completed a relevant apprenticeship or HNC/HND qualification.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and preferably experienced using Trimble estimating software.
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
