The predicted salary is between 29700 - 36300 £ per year.
As part of the overall maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of a wide range of industrial electrical systems and production equipment.
Working closely with production and maintenance colleagues and external; you will respond to breakdowns, carry out preventative maintenance activities, and contribute to projects aimed at improving plant performance, efficiency, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance and repair activities across plant and facility equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving faults on production machinery and associated systems
- Maintain motors, drives, control panels, instrumentation, and control systems
- Utilise PLC and automation systems for fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Support preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime
- Interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Assist with electrical installations, upgrades, and improvement projects
- Support energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with production and mechanical maintenance teams
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with motors, drives, control systems, and industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
