- We’re looking for an experienced
Service Design & Transition Specialist to support a key client on an exciting contract assignment.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the transition of a critical project into Business-as-Usual (BAU) support while designing a repeatable Service Design & Transition framework that will support future programmes across the organisation.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the successful transition of a live project into BAU support.
- Review current IT service management practices and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop a reusable Service Design & Transition methodology, including templates, governance and best practices.
- Ensure operational readiness through effective planning, documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders and provide regular progress updates.

- This is a
UK-based contract opportunity .
The role is primarily remote, with regular on-site attendance (typically 1–2 days per week) required to work closely with key stakeholders during critical phases of the engagement.
- What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in Service Design and/or Service Transition within complex IT environments.
- Strong track record of transitioning projects into BAU support.
- Experience reviewing and improving IT service management processes.
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Management (ITIL Foundation minimum).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience creating practical frameworks, documentation and governance processes.
- Available to start immediately and commit to an initial 6–12 month contract.
