pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find a Capital Actuary/Manager on behalf of a BPA provider. The purpose of the role is to oversee, maintain and develop the regulatory capital framework and asset valuation methodology and models, and ensure that these remain optimised and appropriate to the business and risk profile.
Responsibilities:
- Enhancing and optimising market risk models
- Oversee other internal model models to ensure they are appropriate
- Development of company internal model
- Proxy model development
- Analysis and reporting
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Actuary with previous experience of life insurance capital modelling. Previous proxy modelling experience would be highly desirable.
