pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find a Director of Actuarial Reporting for a global insurer. The purpose of the role is to own the Actuarial aspects of the group reporting methodologies for IFRS17, Embedded Value, Insurance Capital Standard and Group Wide Supervision Pillar 1 (Hong Kong).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-Chair of the IFRS 17 technical forum, discussing clarifications and refinements of IFRS17 policy.
  • Write papers for internal governance committees and external auditors regarding methodologies to the IFRS17, Embedded Value and GWS pillar 1 reporting metrics.
  • Lead on aspects of technical lobbying points and implementation in respect to IC adoption for the Group.
  • Liaise with Business Units, group functions and external auditors as required.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced qualified Actuary with extensive financial reporting experience within a complex environment.
