pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find an Actuarial student/nearly/newly qualified Actuary to work closely with the front office of a specialist BPA provider.

The chosen individual will be responsible for:

  • Close liaison with front office on assessing the financial implications of new business, trading, transfers from/to the MA portfolio and other hedging and risk management activities
  • Monthly production and monitoring of MA cashflow matching particularly PRA test 3 measure
  • Assessing MA eligibility for contracts

The role would suit an Actuarial student to those who have recently qualified and provides the opportunity to work closely on asset related work. Previous experience of financial reporting or ALM/Capital would be desirable.
