Our client is a Telecoms supplier covering the South East of England from offices near Gatwick. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to recruit additional members for their Business Development sales teams.
Your role will be to target the SME & Corporate sector in the South East of England, selling a range of Mobile, Connectivity (Broadband and leased lines), Hosted IP Voice and Security. You will be selling to companies of up to 250 employees, promoting our client’s products and services.
This role requires a consultative sales approach by understanding the decision-making processes and business needs to tailor packages for clients. This role involves self-opportunity generation as well as responding to leads generated and direct selling. Sales Executives will have the opportunity to manage the accounts that they secure for the purposes of referral and repeat business. A strong work ethic is essential for all roles.
This is predominantly an office-based role, working within our dynamic team, with occasion to attend customer sites to facilitate the sale.
Our client offers bespoke training & mentorship as well as a development route to senior positions within the business. They value staff highly and recognise and reward hard work & success, with all of the management team being promoted from within. High earnings are realistically achievable for top performers.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years telecoms sales experience. We will consider sales experience from outside the Telecom arena as long as there is a synergy of business to business selling in a competitive, target-driven sales environment, to SME clients. You will be resilient and confident in making outbound calls; excellent at influencing and persuading others; confident to handle objections and challenging conversations and have a good understanding of new technology that is emerging with the ability to communicate this clearly and concisely to your customers. A familiarity with software such as Salesforce would be an advantage.
