PMA Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established and growing joinery and interior fit-out contractor based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and reputable company delivering high-quality commercial, retail, and refurbishment projects across Scotland.

The Role: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple joinery and fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account.

  • Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender reviews
  • Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
  • Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Monitoring project costs and ensuring profitability
  • Supporting project managers with commercial decision-making
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within joinery, fit-out, or interiors
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills
  • Experience managing subcontractors and variations
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred)
