Home-based with some travel across the UK
Our Client is a Communications & Managed Service Provider supply Comms services to Enterprise & Government Customers across the UK. As part of their expansion, they are looking for an experienced Senior Bid Manager to manage the bid management and contract management for their New Business & Account Management sales teams across the UK.
The successful applicant will be responsible for project managing tender responses to win prestigious accounts and manage the process all the way from initial request to contract delivery. This will involve going to meetings with customers and representing the team on projects. You\'ll be responding to National tenders and preparing submissions as well as being involved in record keeping, accurate reporting and legal negotiation. This will involve some UK travel.
It can be a highly pressured environment, and you\'ll often be working to tight deadlines but you\'ll be able to project manage responses all the way from initial request to contract delivery, liaising with virtual team members throughout all levels of the business.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate at least 3years\' experience as a Tender orBidManager, working with minimal supervision as well as having high levels of literacy and numeracy and the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. It is essential that you also have strong influencing skills, diplomacy and a good knowledge of spreadsheets and presentation software. Ideally you will have experience of helping a busy team of AccountManagers as well as having a good understanding of the Communications marketplace.
