Our client is a Telecoms supplier covering the South East of England from offices near Gatwick. They are expanding and are looking to recruit additional members for their Business Development sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Target SME & Corporate sector in the South East of England, selling a range of Mobile, Connectivity (Broadband and leased lines), Hosted IP Voice and Security products and services.
  • Use a consultative sales approach by understanding decision‑making processes and business needs to tailor packages for clients.
  • Generate self‑opportunities and respond to leads generated; engage in direct selling.
  • Manage the accounts secured for the purposes of referral and repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of telecoms sales experience; experience from outside the telecom arena will also be considered if it involves business‑to‑business selling in a competitive, target‑driven environment to SME clients.
  • Resilient and confident in making outbound calls, excellent at influencing and persuading others.
  • Confident in handling objections and challenging conversations, with a good understanding of emerging technology and ability to communicate it clearly and concisely to customers.
  • Familiarity with software such as Salesforce is an advantage.
