Type: Full-Time, Shift Rotation We are seeking a driven and skilled Chemical Process Technician to join our dynamic operations team at a top-tier chemical manufacturing facility.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between laboratory research and full-scale plant production.

You will lead process scale-ups, optimise existing chemical unit operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Scale-Up: Transition new chemical processes from bench-scale and pilot plant to full manufacturing scale.
  • Optimization & Troubleshooting: Analyze plant performance, identify root causes of process variation, and resolve technical bottlenecks.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all new and existing processes strictly comply with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations (e. g., COMAH, DSEAR, ISO standards).
  • Key Requirements
  • Education: HNC, Chemical Engineer or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
