Job Description

PM Group is looking for a Procurement Manager to join a global biopharmaceutical client in Surrey.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project planners, estimators and engineers to forecast procurement needs (procurement plan)
  • Manage tendering process including preparation, bid evaluation, clarification and selection
  • Negotiate terms and conditions including delivery timelines, warranties, penalties and payment terms
  • Monitor contract and supplier performance against contractual obligations
  • Track commitments, variations and invoices to control costs along with Linesight cost controllers
  • Maintain complete records of procurement activities, contracts and communications
  • Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Manage procurement related changes and claims in co-ordination with project control teams

  • Vendor scope change
  • Contract risk mapping/opportunity mapping
  • Cost avoidance – savings expert

Requirements

  • Previous level of experience in a Procurement Manager or Lead role
  • Knowledge of supplier contracts, suppliers relationship and contracting communities
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Ideally have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry or similar

Contract till December 2026
