You will lead the master-planning direction in the UK, working with clients on multi-disciplinary projects, and gain exposure to a wide range of design experiences within our portfolio. Responsibilities: Lead the development of creative and innovative design concepts for master planning projects. Develop and advance schematic designs, and prepare compelling 2D and 3D diagrams communicating strategy and design. Analyze and document influences on design and master planning projects. Assist with site planning, programming, footprint layouts, development calculations, massing, and architectural design. Participate in meetings with clients, public, and other stakeholders. Manage and engage stakeholders to drive project processes and ensure quality deliverables. Collaborate with the Design Group to develop schematic designs. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate design processes and concepts. Manage client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination. Utilize rapid and iterative simulation techniques to enhance designs. Coordinate and review work products, contribute to office activities, and engage in practice-wide initiatives. Build a team-oriented approach to project delivery. Coordinate project information and ensure timely issue to clients and teams. Plan projects, manage resources, and advise on resource requirements. Ensure project files and processes comply with QA procedures. Facilitate design and technical reviews with the Head of Architecture. Proactively advise clients to improve service delivery and identify business opportunities. Qualifications: Fully qualified Architect. Extensive experience in strategic site master-planning for complex developments. Knowledge in sectors like manufacturing, life sciences, high-tech facilities. Understanding of building components, typologies, and their relation to public space and infrastructure. Working knowledge of planning laws, policies, and regulations.
