We are looking for a Principal Architect to join PM Group working for us based out of our Manchester office.
Responsibilities:
- As the Principal Architect for the Manchester office, you will have the opportunity to enjoy client interaction as well as the technical design aspects of projects.
- The ability to tackle operational tasks as well as maintain a strong work ethic and drive delivery for clients as a collaborative colleague are inherent in the role.
- The successful candidate will be comfortable leading conceptual design teams for Life Sciences projects providing innovative, cost-effective and sustainable solutions through the full design and project life cycle.
- Project sizes will vary and will consist primarily of life science industry projects doing both existing building improvements and new construction.
Qualifications:
- A qualified Architect with architectural membership with the ARB / RIBA or equivalent.
- Possess strong and proven level of expertise gained as an Architect across a variety of complex projects, preferably of high-tech industrial facilities and schemes.
- Strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary A&E teams.
- Must present proficient skills in using AutoCAD, Revit and its suite of design software; proficient skills in Sketchup (or similar program like Rhino), Bluebeam & Adobe Creative Suite would be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal/written skills.
- Self-motivated with a reliable, consistent, and mature approach to work.
- An ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection, and business.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and peers at all levels, with good presentation skills.
