We are currently recruiting for a Cost Controller to support a Northumberland based client.
Scope of Work:
- Reports to Project Controls Manager
- Ensure robust cost governance, transparency and predictability across all phases of project execution including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, validation and operational start up
- Provide the right tools, processes and control information
- Work in conjunction with project teams to implement tools and methods
- Monitor lead indicators and trends to provide early warning of any issues
- Focus on control and continuous improvement
- Make issues visible and collaborate with teams to solve problems
- Develop, monitor and maintain overall monthly project cost report
- Interface with SAP
- Develop and maintain overall project staffing and spending plans
- Represent the client cost function in project controls, risk, progress and cost review forums
Qualifications:
- Ideally a degree in an Engineering discipline
- Cost engineering experience within both client and EPCM
- Demonstrate experience within Pharmaceutical projects
- Balancing and organising inputs from multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of Microsoft
- Working knowledge of progress measurement methods and understanding of earned value systems
