An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprentice to join PM Group in our vibrant Manchester office.

Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprentice

Full time – Permanent

Responsibilities

Reporting to the UK Head of Mechanical Engineering, you will undertake tasks such as working on technical drawings, data sheets, schematics, communicating with vendors and suppliers, and supporting the mechanical engineering department to gain a broader understanding of the business and engineering field.

You will support live projects throughout your apprenticeship with PM Group.

Qualifications

  • A-Levels in Maths and a Science-based subject or HND/Foundation Degree in Engineering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and technical software is a plus
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary design environment
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to produce accurate work within strict deadlines
  • Flexibility to work both in the design office and on construction sites
