We have an exciting opportunity to join our Human Resources team, reporting into the Chief People & Culture Officer to support the growth of the business into the future.
The Group Head of Talent Management & Employee Experience will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive talent management strategies that enhance the overall employee experience and drive talent management initiatives. This role focuses on creating a positive work environment, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring the alignment of talent management practices with the company's strategic goals. As this is a global remit, the role requires a seasoned professional with extensive international experience in talent management, employee experience and leadership development. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with HR and business leaders to align talent strategies with organisational goals, driving the attraction, retention and motivation of top talent. This is a hybrid role and can be based from our offices in Ireland or the UK.
Responsibilities
- Talent Management Strategy: Development and execution of a comprehensive talent management strategy that supports the organization's strategy through the following programmes:
- Employee Experience: Design and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being. Conduct regular employee surveys and feedback sessions to assess the employee experience and identify areas for improvement. Develop initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Career Path Strategy: Create comprehensive career path strategies to support employee growth, retention and development.
- Performance Management: Lead the design, development and implementation of a performance management framework and process. Provide guidance and support to managers in setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback. Ensure alignment of performance management practices with organizational objectives.
- Learning and Development: Oversee the design and delivery of training and development programs that support employee growth and career advancement. Identify skill gaps and create development plans to address them. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Champion and drive DEI initiatives and ensure they are integrated into all talent management and employee experience practices. Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop a diverse workforce. Monitor and report on DEI metrics and progress.
- Succession Planning: Develop and implement succession planning strategies to ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates for key leadership roles. Identify high-potential employees and create development plans to prepare them for future leadership positions. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment of succession planning with organizational goals.
- Culture & Change: Develop and communicate a compelling Employee Value Proposition that attracts and retains top talent. Ensure the EVP aligns with the company's culture, values, and strategic objectives. Continuously assess and refine the EVP based on employee feedback and market trends. Ensure values and associated behaviours are threaded through all HR processes. Proficient in innovative change methodologies and employee communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years of international experience in talent management, employee experience with a focus on high-impact, innovative initiatives.
- Experience in human-centred design principles and methodologies.
- Proven track record of developing, implementing and measurement of successful talent management and employee engagement strategies.
- Expertise in developing frameworks for EVP, performance management, learning and development, and DEI with strong experience of implementation.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and systems thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
