Talent & Development Executive

Are you passionate about helping people learn, develop and achieve their potential? Do you enjoy organising projects, building relationships and creating positive experiences for colleagues and future talent?

We are looking for a proactive and organised Talent & Development Executive to join our People & Culture team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting learning and development, apprenticeships, work experience programmes and early careers initiatives across the organisation.

About the Role

As our Talent & Development Executive, you'll help shape and support the learning journey of colleagues across PCH, from induction through to ongoing professional development. You'll work closely with managers, employees, training providers and education partners to ensure our people have access to the tools, opportunities and support they need to thrive.

No two days are the same. You'll be involved in everything from coordinating training programmes and managing learning systems to supporting apprenticeship recruitment campaigns and attending careers events in the local community.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing guidance to colleagues and managers on learning opportunities, professional qualifications and development pathways.
  • Coordinating training bookings and liaising with internal and external training providers.
  • Maintaining accurate learning records, compliance data and training reports.
  • Managing and supporting our learning management system, Kallidus.
  • Supporting apprenticeship and early careers programmes, from attraction through to onboarding.
  • Attending careers fairs, recruitment events and education settings to promote opportunities at PCH.
  • Coordinating work experience placements and maintaining relationships with schools, colleges and other partners.
  • Supporting our employee volunteering programme.
  • Contributing to projects that improve processes, systems and the overall colleague experience.

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, customer-focused and enthusiastic about supporting the development of others.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in an administrative, HR or People & Culture environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using HR systems, learning management systems or similar digital platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders.
