About the role
Working across our diverse housing stock, you'll carry out a wide range of electrical installation, testing, inspection, repair and maintenance work, ensuring our tenants' homes remain safe, compliant, and well maintained.
This is much more than a standard electrician role.
You'll have the opportunity to utilise and further develop your multi-skilled capabilities while delivering high-quality repairs and improvements that have a direct impact on our customers' lives.
You’ll work independently, manage your own workload, and take pride in achieving first-time fixes wherever possible, providing an exceptional service to our tenants.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out electrical installations, testing, inspection and fault-finding on new and existing installations.
- Completing rewires, repairs, upgrades and planned maintenance works.
- Undertaking a variety of multi-skilled tasks as required.
- Diagnosing issues and delivering effective first-time solutions.
- Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety standards.
- Providing a professional, customer-focused service to our tenants.
- Participating in the out-of-hours on-call service.
- What We’re Looking For
We're seeking someone who
- Holds JIB Approved Electrician status.
- Has experience installing, testing, inspecting and fault-finding electrical systems.
- Can confidently undertake rewires, repairs and maintenance works.
- Posesses a broad range of multi-skilled maintenance abilities.
- Takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
- Works effectively on their own initiative.
- Has a strong understanding of electrical and health and safety regulations.
