Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Depot Manager to oversee daily operations within our logistics and supply chain facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, supervising staff, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics systems, process optimisation, and team leadership to maintain high standards of safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all depot operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and transportation coordination.
• Supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management to foster a productive working environment.
• Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to optimise operational workflows.
• Manage 3PL providers and coordinate third-party logistics activities to ensure seamless supply chain processes.
• Monitor profit & loss statements to maintain budgetary control and identify areas for process improvement.
