We are recruiting for an experiencedPlant Fitterto join a leading plant and tool hire company based in Beckton. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of plant and tool hire equipment, ensuring that machinery is kept operational and reliable for customer use.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs, servicing, and maintenance on tools and powered access equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems, as well as petrol and diesel engines.
• Attend off-site breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime.
• Work as part of a team in a workshop environment to prepare and maintain machinery.
• Conduct PAT Testing (desirable, but not essential).
• Complete all relevant repair and service paperwork accurately (computer literacy required).
• Participate in training programs as needed for continued professional development.

What Were Looking For:

• Previous experience working with plant & tool hire equipment
• A solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical engineering.
• A proactive and flexible attitude towards work, with a willingness to go above and beyond when required.
• Full driving licence
