HGV Class 1 HIAB Driver in Bedford

Opportunity: Class 1 Driver

Salary: £40,037

Location: Bedford

Our client, a leading provider of welfare facilities, site accommodation, renewable power products, portable toilets and modular buildings are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join their Bedford depot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of company equipment.
• Visiting multiple locations to deliver and install equipment as required.
• Assessing site access, collaborating with customers, and ensuring smooth operations.
• Performing routine vehicle checks to comply with safety regulations.
• Delivering within a local area of Bedford

Essential Requirements:

• Valid LGV Class 1 License
• Up-to-date Digi Tacho Card
• Driver CPC Qualification, with a minimum of one CPC training day per year since obtaining the card.
• Good knowledge of EU driving hours regulations and tachograph rules.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with the local area and routes.
• Experience in the hire industry is a plus.
