About the Role

Were actively seeking qualified Electrical Testers with a strong background in social housing EICR work. This is not just another testing job. Youll work under experienced leadership that truly understands the job, with clear communication, support from contract managers, and the chance to earn well above industry average through structured price work.

_Your Day-to-Day_

  • Perform domestic and commercial EICR testing and remedial works, primarily in social housing
  • Handle 4 EICRs per day (2 hours allocated per property)
  • Complete certification accurately and on time
  • Install lateral mains
  • Install emergency lighting
  • Install 3-phase distribution boards
  • Install fire detection systems
  • Work efficiently while ensuring strict safety and quality standards

What Youll Get

  • Realistic earnings of £55K£65K+ (most testers average 1216 hours of pay per day on an 8-hour shift)

What Youll Need

  • 2391 or 2391-52 Testing & Inspection certification (or 2394/2395 equivalent)
  • Fully qualified (Gold Card or equivalent)
  • Experience in social housing and EICR testing
  • 18th Edition certified
  • Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
  • No criminal record (DBS checks required)
