Overview
The role is a part-time, contracted position with regular weekly shifts, working 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE). Due to business need, we are not able to offer hourly paid casual contracts at this time. Applications are invited for the post of Leisure Assistant to work as part of a team to assist, monitor and supervise customers in the Marjon Sports Centre, with specific responsibilities in lifeguarding, setting up sporting activities and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Leisure Assistant applicant is required to work a shift pattern that covers the hours the sport centre is open. An early shift being from 6am-2pm and a late shift being between 2pm-10.15pm Monday to Friday. Weekend hours will be between 7.30am-6pm. We specifically require Wednesday to Saturday availability for this role.
