As part of that transformation, we’ve created a new HR Business Partnering Lead role.

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced and confident people leader who wants the opportunity to influence, shape and build.
  • More than a traditional HR leadership role; it’s a chance to help define what strategic business partnering looks like at PCH, lead a talented team through its next chapter, and play a key role in delivering organisational change, leadership capability and colleague experience across the business.

You will need to have:

  • Strategic people partner leadership experience
  • Project design and delivery at a high level
  • Ability to think outside the box whilst keeping our people and our organisation safe and able to be their best and authentic selves

What you will be doing:

As HR Business Partnering Lead, you’ll lead our HR Business Partnering function, setting the direction, standards and expectations for Senior HR Business Partners, HR Business Partners and HR Advisors. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across the organisation, helping them anticipate challenges, build capability and make confident people decisions that support both performance and culture.

This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape a newly formed leadership team within People & Culture, influence the future direction of the service and leave a lasting impact on how we support colleagues and leaders across PCH.

About Plymouth Community Homes:

We are the city’s largest social housing association, with over 16,000 properties providing homes for more than 35,000 people. We are continuing to grow, with a strong focus on providing high-quality, affordable homes and delivering excellent services to our customers. Our people are at the heart of what we do, and we are proud to offer a supportive and collaborative working environment.

What we can offer you:

  • Excellent pension scheme with high employer contributions
  • Hybrid working and flexible hours through our flexi-time scheme
  • Free, fully equipped onsite gym and changing facilities
  • 3 days per year for volunteering through our Make a Difference scheme
  • 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days), plus bank holidays and option to buy/sell leave
  • Free Employee Assistance Programme, including counselling support
  • Free annual flu vaccination
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • The opportunity to work in a vibrant part of the South West

If you’re an experienced HR leader who combines strategic thinking with strong relationships and a passion for shaping organisational culture, we’d love to hear from you. Join us at an exciting time for PCH and help create the next chapter of our People & Culture journey.
