Plymouth Community Homes is seeking an experienced and effective leader to join its Senior Management Team as Head of Thriving Neighbourhoods. This high-impact role will be instrumental in delivering front-line services that directly enhance the quality of life for customers and building communities that thrive. You will drive forward the strategic direction and transformation of services across key areas, including neighbourhood management, homelessness prevention, youth and older persons’ support, accessible housing, and anti-social behaviour resolution. You will also strategically lead cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring services are insight-led, inclusive, and shaped around residents’ evolving needs.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of services related to neighbourhood management, homelessness prevention, housing advice, accessible housing, and anti-social behaviour.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to ensure services are intelligence-led and outcomes-focused.
  • Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement across neighbourhood services.
  • Drive service transformation through collaboration, insight, and resident engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative, regulatory, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Represent PCH at senior stakeholder and strategic partnership forums across the city and beyond.
  • Manage departmental budgets effectively, championing value for money and operational efficiency.
  • Provide strong, visible leadership to inspire teams and promote a culture of empowerment, learning, and accountability.
