Are you a reliable, hands-on worker with a can-do attitude? Do you enjoy a mix of driving and practical outdoor work? We’re looking for a motivated Driver Labourer to join our Repairs and Voids Team, here in Plymouth.
Responsibilities
- Delivering materials, tools, and plant equipment to our trade teams
- Clearing completed jobs and assisting trades when needed (e.g., fencing, roofing, concrete work, plastering, garage doors)
- Delivering and setting up dehumidifiers and Portaloo’s
- Completing legionella flushing in empty homes ready to let
- Keeping our on-call store stocked
- Responding to real-time requests for urgent collections and deliveries throughout the day
No two days are the same, and you will be a vital support for both field and office teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a fast-paced delivery or service role
- Confident communicator with tenants, tradespeople and office teams
- Comfortable using handheld IT for deliveries and job updates
- Experience driving a 3.5-tonne flatbed or tipper (Transit-type)
- Basic building/maintenance knowledge and safe manual handling awareness
- A practical, can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills
