About The Role
At Plymouth Community Homes, we believe every penny we bring in should make a real difference for our residents and communities. That’s why our Housing Officers within the Rent and Letting Support team are so important—they help protect the future of our organisation while supporting people to build brighter, more secure lives. We’re looking for a Housing Officer to join our Rent and Letting Support team. In this role, you’ll not only safeguard the income that keeps our services running, but also give residents the advice, support and confidence they need to feel included and financially stable.
Our Ideal Candidate For This Role Is Someone Who
- Will have excellent communication skills and have experience of line management
- Has a positive \”can do\” attitude and has a track record of making customer focused change to improve service
- Has a record of meeting challenging income recovery targets within the housing sector
- Knowledge of DWP Welfare Benefits and experience working with potentially vulnerable customers.
- Has experience in Social Housing
