As part of our Cleansing Service, you will operate a range of specialist vehicles, including large mechanical sweepers and refuse vehicles used in the collection and transportation of litter bin waste. You will be responsible for operating these vehicles safely and efficiently, in accordance with relevant legislation, health and safety requirements, and Council procedures, while ensuring the wellbeing of colleagues, members of the public, and other road users at all times.

This is a varied and rewarding role that requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to respond effectively to changing operational demands. You will play a key role in maintaining service standards, supporting your colleagues, and representing Plymouth City Council in a professional and positive manner while helping to keep the city clean and presentable.
