Eligibility
This vacancy is only available for applications from existing Internal Plymouth City Council employees and Agency Workers who are in an active placement and have 12 weeks continuous service. Applications submitted by External candidates who do not meet this criteria will not be considered and will be rejected.

Secondment Policy

Role Overview
An opportunity has arisen to support the contract management function for the Energy from Waste CHP Facility in Plymouth on behalf of Plymouth City Council, Devon County Council and Torbay Council acting as the South West Devon Waste Partnership.

Responsibilities & Tasks
The role will involve managing all administrative aspects relating to the contract and partnership, including maintaining contractual information and data, acting as a point of contact for the partnership, processing invoices and purchase orders and preparing all meetings and taking accurate minutes, ensuring confidentiality. In addition, the role will require engagement with and supporting community liaison activities such as school visits to the site as necessary and provide exposure / opportunities to learn and develop skills for managing and monitoring performance of a service‑based contract.

Requirements & Attributes
You will be expected to demonstrate high levels of organisational and communication skills and be self‑motivated with a strong attention to detail.

Working Arrangements
The function operates on a flexible working basis subject to the needs of the service and offers a blend of home working and office based at the Energy from Waste facility.
