Support Worker Apprenticeships in Adult Social Care NVQ level 2 Support Worker Apprentice – Supported Apprenticeships Plymouth, Britain’s Ocean City is a great place to live and work. We are a progressive local authority, who provides a competitive salary, a generous annual leave entitlement and excellent professional development opportunities. We are offering a Supported Apprenticeship at the Vine Day service, designed for individuals who may need additional support to succeed in the workplace, including those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This programme provides the opportunity to gain valuable, real-world work experience alongside structured learning.
At Plymouth City Council, apprentices will be supported both in the workplace and through tailored training delivered in partnership with OCSW. This includes ongoing guidance, skills development, and personalised support to help individuals build confidence, independence and employability skills. This pathway is ideal for candidates who are motivated to work and learn and who would benefit from additional support to achieve their career goals.
The Vine Day Service provides a variety of centre and community-based opportunities daily (Monday – Friday) for up to 50 adults with learning disabilities and a range of complex health and social care support needs. An exciting chapter is about to begin with the modernisation of a new care and support facility called Meadow View. This purpose-built facility contains both day services and respite located near central park with full access and exciting opportunities within the city and local area.
