We are excited to offer a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship opportunity to join our Business Support Team who support the work of the Children, Young People and Families Service. About the Role
As part of the team, you’ll carry out a variety of essential administrative tasks, including:
- Data input and record management
- Responding to emails and enquiries
- Scheduling and managing meetings and diaries
- Taking notes in meetings
- Welcoming visitors and covering main reception
- Scanning, printing, and document handling
- Supporting the wider team with day‑to‑day admin tasks
You’ll work with a wide range of people, including:
- Members of the public
- Social workers
- Senior management
- Partner agencies such as health, education and police
Learning & Development
You’ll be supported throughout your apprenticeship by a local training provider, with dedicated time during your working week for off‑the‑job learning to help you successfully achieve your qualification.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs (A–C/9–4), including English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- A positive attitude and willingness to work towards your qualification
- Strong typing and keyboard skills
- Understanding of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage your time effectively
- Experience working both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Information
This role is not suitable for job share due to the apprenticeship training element of the role. There is no age limit for this apprenticeship; we welcome applications from individuals at all stages of their career.
