We are seeking to recruit a Business Improvement Assistant to support our systems and improvement work in Plymouth City Council’s Adults, Health and Communities Directorate. Reporting to the Assurance and Service Improvement Manager, you will play a key role in supporting strategic projects across the Directorate, particularly those aimed at improving services for vulnerable people in Plymouth.
The role includes use of project management methodologies to support the team and facilitating the delivery of low-risk projects and work packages. You will also be responsible for coordinating reporting timelines across Directorate projects to meet deadlines, drafting and issuing agendas and action logs, and organising meetings with follow-up on decisions and actions. Additionally, you will assist in preparing reports and studies as directed, ensuring all outputs are timely, accurate, and aligned with project goals.
