- What You’ll Do
- Lifeguarding
- Assisting teacher with swimming lessons
- Teaching swimming
- Supporting customers in the gym
- Administrative tasks
- Poolside assistance for lessons
- Customer service
- Following Health and Safety regulations
- Work in a team to support peers and colleagues to meet the goals of the business
- Monitor customer use of equipment and ensure their safety, intervening as necessary
- Undertake the operational housekeeping of the leisure facility

As an apprentice, you’ll gain nationally recognised qualifications, hands on experience across our leisure centres, and the chance to develop real confidence in customer service, aquatics, fitness and operational safety.
You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues who will guide you every step of the way, helping you build the skills you need for a successful future in leisure.
There are various roles available which are dependent on successful completion of the apprenticeship and on an individual basis.
