Your next challenge
The Product Director is responsible for leading the end-to-end product strategy, development, and performance across our Pluxee Employee Experience Platform (including salary sacrifice and third parties), Prepaid & Cashback, and also across our legacy products. This role ensures that all products deliver measurable value to our key stakeholders - Employers, Employees and Merchant & Partners, drive commercial outcomes (alignment with P&L), and aligns with Pluxee UK’s strategic growth ambitions. The Product Director plays a pivotal role in leading on the execution of the Product Roadmap.
What you’ll be doing:
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Own the product vision and roadmap across all product lines, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
- Lead the strategic planning for new and existing products, balancing innovation, scalability, and profitability.
- Represent Product at the Strategy Board, contributing to company-wide strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing Product team, and cross-functional contributors.
- Foster a culture of customer-centricity, innovation, and agile delivery.
- Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the design, development, and launch of new features and products across the Product Portfolio.
- Ensure product-market fit through continuous discovery, validation, and iteration.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritising initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Commercial & Performance Accountability
- Collaborate with Rev Ops, Commercial and Merchant teams to define monetisation strategies, pricing models, and go-to-market plans.
- Track and optimise product performance metrics including adoption, engagement, retention, and profitability.
- Support the development of business cases for new product investments and enhancements.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Product Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring user needs are embedded in product decisions.
- Lead internal communications around product strategy, updates, and performance.
- Innovation & Legacy Product Management
- Drive innovation in employee experience and loyalty products, leveraging emerging technologies and market trends.
- Lead the modernisation or retirement of legacy products, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal resource use.
- Stay ahead of industry developments, competitor activity, and regulatory changes impacting product strategy.

You’re a match:
Education and experience:
- Proven experience in Product Leadership within a SaaS or tech-driven business, ideally within the employee experience market.
- Strong understanding of employee experience platforms, loyalty products, or fintech solutions.
- Experience delivering employee benefits products enabled by prepaid card and cashback programmes is highly desirable, including working knowledge of KYC/AML compliance requirements and the operational controls needed to launch and scale regulated payment-enabled propositions.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering commercial outcomes.
- Expertise in agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and customer discovery.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with board-level exposure.
- Experience managing legacy product portfolios and transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with merchant-funded models, cashback ecosystems, or prepaid solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in data-driven product decision-making.
- 5-7 years of experience in product development. 2-3 years in a management role.
