Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per year

Hours: 8 hrs shifts Monday to Friday

Contract: Full-Time Permanent

Our client is currently looking for a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join their staff team for a private day nursery located in Hammersmith. As a Room Leader, you want to be part of the right nursery. One where there are great opportunities to grow, develop and really make a difference while achieving the best possible outcomes for all the children in your care.

Role Requirements:

  • Level 3 or above Early Years Qualification (required)
  • 2 years childcare experience (required)
  • Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Early Years Outcomes, safeguarding and child protection
  • The successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Committed to providing high-quality care and education within a nursery setting

What the role involves:

  • To deliver and ensure a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years
  • To keep a record of achievement on your key children
  • Ensure that Early Years Foundation Stage requirements are being met
  • Care for and supervise children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs
  • Planning and preparation of activities to develop all aspects of the child’s individual development within a stimulating environment
  • An open and positive working relationship with team members
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education
  • First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications are highly desirable
