We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a skilled and experienced Nursery Room Manager for this wonderful private nursery located in Highgate N6. Role:
- To be jointly responsible for the day-to-day and operational running of the Nursery
- To understand and be able to teach the nursery curriculum and educational programmes
- To support the team to fulfil their roles in working with children, working with parents, and working with the team
- To ensure the Nursery is successfully promoting and supporting the children’s personal development, behaviour, health, and welfare
- Provide an inclusive environment for colleagues, children and visitors
- Safeguard the children: safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility
Requirements:
- We’re looking for you to be Level 3+ Early Years qualified
- You’ll have experience as a Room Leader / Room Manager / 3rd in Charge
- Be ready to live our values through your work: Inspiring, Brave, Nurturing, Fun
- Show your ability to protect and safeguard children in your care
- Showcase your knowledgeable, passionate and imaginative approach to providing high quality Early Years education and care
- You’ll have full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
- Experience in leading and coaching a team
- Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant
- Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and be willing to update that training regularly
