Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 per year

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm and welcoming Montessori Independent Nursery School setting in Clapham Junction. The newly refurbished nursery boasts unique state-of-the-art facilities, such as a sensory room and even a water room for activities, enabling staff to make the most out of each day.

We are seeking Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioners who are:

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
  • Encourage children to develop their social, emotional, and intellectual skills
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and their families
  • Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS
  • Creating a safe, engaging and positive environment
  • Working collaboratively with staff to meet the needs of all children
  • Building strong relationships with children, colleagues and families

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children aged 0-5 years old
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
  • A caring, reliable and proactive approach
  • A passion for early childhood education
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child development
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
