We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our well-established early years setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident leader who is committed to delivering outstanding care and education for young children. This is a small packed-away nursery that runs term-time from 9am to 3pm.
The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery/OFSTED, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding. You will lead, inspire, and support your team while maintaining strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursery team to deliver outstanding early years practice
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, EYFS, and safeguarding requirements
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
- Build positive partnerships with parents and external agencies
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
- 2 years proven experience in a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager role
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Passionate about early childhood development and high-quality care
- Must provide qualification certificates, DBS update or undergo Enhanced DBS check, and provide 2 professional references
