We are looking for an enthusiastic childcare professional with experience, Nursery Practitioners / Nursery Assistants on a bank basis. The creche will cater for children aged between 1 and 6 years old, providing childcare services for a private members' club (within the New Fulham Stadium).
The role of the Nursery Practitioner / Assistant involves:
- Being proactive whilst using your initiative throughout the working day to support the staff team.
- Being a team player.
- Caring for the children’s well-being.
- Safeguarding the children and having their best interests at heart.
- Educating the children in a play-based environment.
- Fully engaging and interacting with the children whilst supporting their individual needs.
Requirements:
- Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
- Unqualified with 1 year previous experience working in nursery or childcare settings
- Be passionate about supporting children's development and learning
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be flexible and adaptable to different nursery environments
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
- Have the ability to use their initiative
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Show a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Be willing to travel up to 45 minutes from home
- Have an up-to-date DBS check on the update system (or be willing to obtain one through Plus Staff Recruitment)
