The predicted salary is between 27185 - 27185 £ per year.

Location: Popular E14

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per year

Hours: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday

Contract: Full-time Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • To work effectively in partnership with other team members, parents and outside professionals.
  • Partaking in the nursery's daily routine and ensuring the highest level of childcare is being delivered.
  • To organise the daily running of the room, including staff breaks, outings, reviewing observations, completing the rota etc.
  • To support and motivate your team with team effectiveness strategies.
  • Ensuring that the children in the nursery are safe at all times and being vigilant for signs of abuse or neglect.
  • Completing regular training to progress personal and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner/Nursery Nurse and/or as a Room Leader.
  • Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
  • A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills.
  • Safeguarding knowledge.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of childcare and customer service.
  • Excellent personal presentation standards.
  • The ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business, this is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across 5 days.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to lead a team.
  • Reliability and ability to work under pressure.

All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide two suitable references.
